Welcome to the “World of Roses” from the Augusta Rose Society! Founded in 1960 in Augusta, Georgia, we are an affiliate of The American Rose Society and its Deep South District. Let us show you how to succeed with and grow beautiful roses! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Adult Building at The First Baptist Church on Walton Way.

Our meetings are open to the public and offer great speakers, Consulting Rosarian advice, door prizes and refreshments. Members enjoy an award winning newsletter, The Monthly Bulletin, garden tours, social events and a great deal of fun!

Our goals are to promote the growing of roses and rose activities in the Augusta area; to conduct programs which encourage and assist members in appreciation of roses of all types; to educate gardeners in our area on rose classifications, uses, propagation, maintenance and exhibiting techniques; and to emphasize the pleasure and benefits derived from growing roses.
